The invisible people What happens when we aren’t in the public’s eye any longer? Have you ever noticed or been a recipient of the “ invisible person syndrome”? Did you retire, or are you in bad health suddenly? There are many reasons why we become invisible. But the facts remain we are. We can’t always make the meetings or church. But we are still here. Maybe we need some help with things we can’t do anymore. Maybe we just need encouraged occasionally. Especially as friends or family begin to die off. Our own vulnerabilities become obvious . Please don’t think that our children are taking care of us because they have lives too and don’t always realize we aren’t the same person anymore. Please don’t just think we are ok, check on us once in awhile. We did not always choose to become invisible.
